On June 5th 1989 an anonymous man armed with nothing but shopping bags prevented the advance of four formidable Chinese tanks. He became a symbol of rebellion all over the world, and now, twenty years later he is the subject of the exhibition currently showing at Chippendale's "Serial Space". There are a range of innovative works ranging from collages, sketches, print, painting and even dancing in Deborah Kelly's "Tank Man Tango" that all represent this pivotal moment in history in a fresh and insightful way.
I highly recommend taking a moment to visit.
